25 years ago I bought my first house. This was a pre-Zillow and Redfin. I called on an open house ad in the newspaper (pre-smartphones!) and spoke to a nice realtor who asked me to call him if I needed any help. Later that day I visited an open house and called him back to write an offer. While he was a wonderful realtor, being a newbie, little did I know that wasn’t the best way to handle things.


Fast forward 25 years, let me tell you about my superpower - working with Buyers. A superpower Buyers agent can not only find you a property you wouldn’t have found, but they can also get you a better deal on that property.  You want to be working with an agent that has the experience and skills to find you the perfect property AND negotiate the best price and best terms.

We don't sit around and wait to see what properties show up.  I’m an active and knowledgeable property hunter working for YOU.  I'm connected with all the local agents, I send mailings to properties that meet your specifications so we can unearth passive sellers. I will knock on the door of any property that looks interesting to you and speak with the owner in person. And I will keep you informed every step of the way. 


How much does a Buyer's Agent cost?

Under the 2024 National Association of Realtors settlement Buyers are responsible for paying their own agent unless the Seller offers a concession.  Fees are always negotiable, but in practice our fee is 2.5% - a little less than average, with a lot more service.  As part of any offer you make on a property, we recommend you request the Seller to cover the fee, as is customary.  If you'd rather do your own searching and call us when you're ready to write an offer (which I don't recommend but in fairness, it's what I did when I bought my first home) then we have a discounted fee for that service.


Regardless of the path you take, we have the skills, experience, and local connections to get your offer accepted on your terms.  Then we guide you carefully through the process until you get the keys to your new home... and beyond.
